MNF Waiver: Every person must sign this waiver here
Join George L. Traicheff, our 2025 Meadowlark Nature Festival featured artist, for a short workshop and demonstration on nontoxic lithography using easily found household items. Participants will use aluminum foil, vinegar, vegetable oil, china markers, oil paints and coca cola (instead of acid) to produce a hand pulled lithograph. Each artist will draw their own image and prepare it to be printed. Artists will be required to draw a small simple design for their print as time is short. Hopefully each student will leave with at least one print to take home.
The methods learned can be used at home to produce greeting cards or small original lithographs, although one will have to practice a bit before turning out masterpieces. This method is a fun, easy and inexpensive method of making prints.
All materials required will be provided, just bring lots of energy and wear something that will not be ruined if you accidentally get paint on it.
