Description Of This Tour
Join the South Okanagan Naturalists Club for a fun and engaging nature tour of the Okanagan lakefront and channel waterway of Penticton. You would be surprised at how many different bird, plant and animal species share some of our most familiar city hangouts. Alex Bodden, President of the South Okanagan Naturalist’s Club will also share about the importance of water, insects and pollination, and trees and how they all work together. Bring your love for the outdoors, your 5 senses, your curiosity, and lots of active energy. Binoculars are also a great tool (BYO, or borrow at “birding backpack” for free from the Penticton Public library).
