Description Of This Tour
Renee Martin and other members of The Penticton Outdoors Club lead a beautiful hike to Guy’s Cache in the white Lake area. It is a medium level 3-hour hike with some steep sections and a tiny section with a bit of exposure. There are many beautiful spring flowers such as lupins, larkspur, bitter root and birds such as meadow larks and bluebirds. At the top there are excellent views of Mt Parker and Apex and Mahoney Lake. Hikers should bring a pack with a litre of water and a snack (or lunch), warm clothes in case the weather changes, a water- and wind-proof jacket. Hiking boots are essential, and poles are useful.
