Kəmcnnitkʷ (Alongside the Water) Floodplain Re-engagement Project – Habitat Restoration Event
Join En’owkin Centre ECOmmunity Department staff and project partners to help advance floodplain habitat restoration on the Penticton Indian Reserve next to the Penticton Channel.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gather with friends and family to learn about and participate in restoring habitat for the benefit of people, Chinook Salmon, Yellow-breasted Chats and an Indigenous Okanagan biodiversity.
Hands-on activities may include planting Indigenous plants, pulling weeds, and providing plant care.
