Join local ecologist and writer Don Gayton on a leisurely tour of a hidden gem: the Trout Creek Ecological Reserve near Summerland. Enjoy some great scenery while exploring the dynamics of our native grasslands and dry forests. Trout Creek, one of the very first Ecological Reserves created in BC, is host to some 135 different plant species, as well as an extensive list of bird sightings. Suitable for ages 12 and up.
