About Dan
Dan has built a dynamic career as a communications professional, having worked as a host and producer with CBC and Corus Radio before founding CharmPod, a podcast production company supporting creators and corporate clients. More recently, he has successfully managed volunteer coordination and fundraising campaigns in Penticton.
His expertise in storytelling, content creation, and community engagement will help the festival expand its reach and deliver fantastic programming for the 2026 edition of the festival. Dan’s ability to bring people together through both media and grassroots organizing makes him uniquely positioned to strengthen Meadowlark’s role as a cornerstone of environmental education and cultural celebration in the Okanagan-Similkameen.
“The Meadowlark Nature Festival has long been an essential part of connecting people to the landscapes and stories of this region,” said Riendeau. “I am honored to step into this role and look forward to building on the festival’s remarkable legacy while creating new opportunities for people to experience and celebrate our natural world.”
