With a housing crisis declared, how can we provide more housing options, without increasing sprawl and destroying farmland and natural landscapes? Join local architect Chris Allen and landscape designer Diane Ransom for a tour through two recently completed housing projects in Naramata. The tour will start in the village, where a recently completed townhouse complex has injected some density into former industrial lands. We will then head up the bench, where an existing farmhouse has been expanded with a carriage house and courtyard pool, wrapped in a super-efficient shell, and opened up to panoramic views of the valley.
