Join George L. Traicheff, our 2025 Meadowlark Nature Festival featured artist, for a fun painting and drawing experience on the grounds of one of the Okanagan’s finest distilleries. Participants will paint outdoors at Maple Leaf Spirits, capturing the essence of the surrounding South Okanagan landscape. George will give pointers and hands on instruction in both group and individual formats. All mediums are welcome.

This will be a fun and informative learning experience with students acquiring tips to further help them on their journey in plein air painting. If weather keeps us from remaining outdoors, we will retreat inside to work or enjoy an instructor demonstration.

Please bring appropriate clothing for the day, a chair if needed, lunch and the art supplies that you would normally use (please try to limit these to an amount that is easy to carry). All mediums are welcome as the instructor has worked in oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, egg temperas and more.
