This tour provides an introduction to appreciating nature for children ages 6-13. The Vaseux Lake Wildlife Centre contains picnic benches, pit toilets, information kiosks, a mowed footpath, and a sturdy boardwalk leading to a viewing tower at the edge of Vaseux Lake, which itself is a designated Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Birds often seen here include bald eagles, yellow-breasted chats, northern orioles, marsh wrens, and trumpeter swans. Other wildlife includes moose and beaver.
