View the world-renowned Mahoney Lake, a saline lake having unique limnological features and known for its rare algae. Along the way you’ll also visit an old earthen dam. Small ponds may contain various waterfowl, and deer are prevalent in the area. This hike will be at a birders pace, so bring your binoculars! Suitable for ages 10+.
